Tram-train conquers Paris
Tram-trains win another contract in European region. A tram-train is a light-rail public transport system where trams run through from an urban tramway network to main-line railway lines which are shared with conventional trains. This combines the tram's flexibility and accessibility with a train's greater speed, and bridges the distance between a main railway stations and a city centre.
More over on behalf of Paris regional transport authority STIF, SNFS ordered 15 new Citadis Dualis tram train vehicles. These new vehicles will be delivered on second semester of 2017 in route Gardan – Morfermeil. ALSTOM is the manufacturer of this fleet and they are going to enter the network on 2019.
