The CIVITAS Forum Conference for 2018, which will bring all the CIVITAS community together, will take place from 19-21 September in Umea, Sweden.
The participants are policymakers, city representatives, academics and practitioners who will have the opportunity to discuss about sustainable urban mobility and solutions about cleaner and improved transport to Europe. The city is one of the country's leading examples of sustainable urban development and its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan, adopted in 2011, laid the foundations for extensive incorporation of green ideas into the transport system. The city has also received the CIVITAS award for Technical Innovation in 2015, due to its fast charging electric bus initiative.
